3 Giant Steps

Giant Step presents 3 days of parties at Delano in Miami Beach, closing the series out on Saturday with ?uestlove at The Florida Room.

Known today as star percussionist for The Roots, ?uestlove has lent his talents to other artists, projects, and productions. From performing as the drummer for The Philadelphia Experiment, a collaborative instrumental jazz album featuring musicians from Philadelphia, to a DJ Release of a compliation disc ?uestlove Presents: Babies Making Babies and numerous contributions as either drummer or producer for D'Angelo's 2000 album VooDoo, Slum Village's album Fantastic, Vol 2, Common's albums Like Water for Chocolate and Electric Circus, and many many more including the likes of Erykah Badu, Bilal, Dialated Peoples, and Zap Mama. With latest Roots release, Game Theory, ?uestlove has yet to slow down bringing the expertise and old school rhythms of soul into the twenty-first century.
