JUST BE KICKS OFF 2013 WITH A NEW RELEASE ON GET PHYSICAL MUSIC TITLED ‘AFTER THE STORM’
Just Be – the new solo project of Matthew Bushwacka - steps into the fold for the illustrious Get Physical Music with ‘After The Storm’. Due for release on 21st January 2013, the new single also features a deeper mix, and additionally a B-side also called ‘'Out Of The System'. The release is also accompanied by a video that focuses on contemporary dance and explores themes such as disability discrimination, personal triumph and acceptance.
‘After The Storm’ continues the new musical path that Matthew is currently on with his new Just Be project, whilst still retaining the certain special characteristics in Matthew’s music that contributed to Layo & Bushwacka’s previous success. The title track bursts open with bright percussion, paving the way for a long build up filled with effective ambient elements to set the mood perfectly. Everything comes together when a rhythmic synth creeps up on us, setting the track on fire.
The Deep Mix demonstrates Matt’s ability to approach tracks from a different reference point, and provides a different kind of warmth to an already engrossing track. A journey into 'dreamier' soundscape, this one will is sure to provide ethereal moments for listeners both at home and in the club.
'Out of the System' is another percussive wonder and its bouncy beat keeps driving towards the track’s infectious crescendo. An energetic track that is sure to provide the soundtrack to many peak moments over the coming months.
As mentioned, to accompany the release Frogspawn Creative have produced a video for ‘After The Storm’. Following the story of a deaf dancer who is mocked by her peers at an audition, the performer then wow’s them with a stunning contemporary ballet routine. The dancer is still able to enjoy music via physical vibrations, and this phenomenon is based on the director’s personal experiences of a deaf University friend who used to enjoy clubbing on a regular basis. Former West-End choreographer Penelope Schmidt-Uili and deaf advisor and performer Jacob Casselden were consulted on the video to make ensure that dancer Emily Spriggs created a realistic and truthful performance.

Tracklist:
A1 - After The Storm – Original Mix
A2 - After The Storm – Deep Mix
B1 - Out of the System
