dB Conference Film Screening : "Speaking in Code" directed by Amy Grill

I'm super excited to go check this film out during decibel. Hopefully I won't be too partied out from the night before and can actually make it to the screening. There are very few films that speak to our subculture and this is one of them.

Speaking in Code will definitely hit close to home. Described as, an intimate account of people who are completely lost in music.
"A heartbreaking and lighthearted documentary, it's a vérité glimpse into the world of techno Speaking in Code is a personal journey through a world where people give up everything to be lost in music. A techno lover (and the director's then husband) risks it all to change Boston from a rock town into a techno city."

What a nightmare...

So after talking about Decibel forever and planning everything out, I asked for all the days of work so I could go on my super party vacation. I bought my plane ticket about three months ago... So I go back to check everything I print out my E-ticket. And I realize my dumb ass bought the ticket for the wrong date. September 25th, not the 24th which is the day Decibel starts. What and idiot. high holy hell is nothing is going to stop me from getting on that plane on the 24th. I'm going to have to pull a fast one at the airport and act stupid. "What do you mean my flight is on the 25th!", followed by crying, bribing, and last but not least begging. I figure something has to work.
