WMC2010: Let's Move the Party

Promoters please I beg you lets move the parties on over to Miami's warehouse district, just a couple of blocks north of down town to the Wynwood Art District. Wynwood has party potential written all over it. Literally it's a party haven, hundreds YES! hundreds of warehouses all within feet of each other. Some big, some small they come in all shapes and sizes, some of them are already equipped for parties and have sound systems installed. The best part is you don't have to worry about your party getting shut down or noise ordinances, Why? Because the people that live in this area (and few do), dont give a flying fuck. Most of the area is populated by art galleries. Most of the galleries will rent out there space for events, and parties.

Made Event's Sunday School was the first to pick up the trend of what I believe will be the way of the future for WMC. They moved the party over to Ice Palace film studios, just north beyound the Downtown clubs it's located in Overtown the bewteen Wynwood and Downtown.

Wynwood also has a a hand full of clubs and lounges, that should not be over looked. Leading the way is the Electric Pickle, which had an amazing set of parties Conference 2009. The Beach and Downtown are completely saturated, there is just no more space to grow, Wynwood is limit less.

PROS
- Lots of unexplored territory.
- No worries with policy or sound ordinances.

CONS
- Transportation might be a more expensive cab ride, hard to acess from the beach.
- Farther than what people are used to.
