Word on the Street: Myspace the source of all info

It's amazing how much you can find you about someone when you go snooping on their myspace. The following dates and lineup are gathered from various artists' myspace pages:

Mr. Dark Drums Lawler, has some news on his myspace. Here's where it gets interesting he has listed Viva music Vs Cadenza. Of course our dear friend Luciano (founder of Cadenza) has to be there? I mean what kind of Viva Vs Cadenza battle it would be with out him. Hmmm, but who else could be on the line up? Let's take a look at the Cadenza the impressive roster which includes: Guido Schneider, Loco Dice, Thomas Melchior, Pier Bucci, Rhadoo and Ricardo Villalobos. I'm not going to make any assumptions it’s too early for that. But and epic battle is forming here.

Steve Lawler

Brace yourselves for this one, another WTF moment, DJ Hell at a strip club. With a name like that nothing suprises me, expect the fact that he's a really awesome dj don't the name put you off.

Dj Hell

Venezuelan up and comer Delete, who was picked up by Builtbookings and recently launched a new label Robotmusik has a couple of dates for WMC. Keep your eye on him he has a bright future.

The MML

The MML or Mobile Media Master List is a social networking site with a twist. It's targeted to "the industry" and has some other unique features. The site is really gear toward music heads, even the questions asked to gather profile information are speficly about electronic music.

The MML offers a number of services including: advertising, event listings, podcast directory, and personalized calendar. Just to name a few. In essence it’s a great promotion tool for artists and events.

But the number one thing that sets the MML apart is the fact that you can get updates on your mobile phone. This is especially handy for WMC and when traveling to other big events. It's the 3rd time around for them covering WMC, and this year they will be launching version for the iPhone.

Time For SSFD! Sunday School for Degenerates

Sunday school is back. Get your tickets now while there still cheap! Kudos on the made events people for picking this venue. Ice Palace is actually a film studio and it’s a great choice for this event, a lot more space than Pawn Shop. High ceilings and over 40,000 sq ft of party space including an out side garden. It's been used for "Raves" before, and it sets the tone right, feeling more like a warehouse than and actual studio.

And on another note let's hope Argy has sorted out any problems with his passport. :) He was missed by all last year. With a line up like this SSFD will again be on my favorites list. Pernosallly excited to see some great additions, especially Mathias Kaden (who i missed at DEMF), Martin Landsky and Stimming.

Here's a preview:
